Week 13
Time is flying by! This is one of my least favorite pages, but I spent the entire week working on another digi-scrap project for Jonathan's mom's 75th birthday so I'm a little "digi-scrapped out" :) I'll probably go back and fix it before I have it printed.

We went to Cabella's for dinner and shopping tonight as our "Family Date Night." Benjamin LOVES to see the fish and Jonathan was excited to spend his birthday money on a new fishing reel for his Lake Powell trip next week.

Jonathan's birthday is today but he is in Georgia interviewing for a position in the Psy.D program at The University of West Georgia.
Benjamin was quiet for a little while this morning (not usually a good sign) but when I finally found him he was sitting in his rocking chair reading the Book of Mormon. Sweet.

Daniel got his first non-pureed baby food treat today (a Gerber baby snackie thing). He was not a fan!

Jonathan and I rarely get to take pictures with just the two of us. And when we do, we're usually pretty critical of how we look. But I've decided not to do that anymore and to enjoy the pictures we do manage to get of just the two of us.

Today was so busy. All Benjamin, Daniel, and I did was run errands. Jonathan is working long hours finishing his Thesis in the next 7 days so he can defend it at the end of the month.

Leah, Cynthia and I walked/jogged the Rex Lee 5K this morning. It was fun and we all finished in 44 minutes! I would definitely do it again.

Benjamin smiled for the camera tonight while eating his dinner of a grilled cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries. Blue Doggy ("bwues" according to Benjamin) shared his dinner and got a diaper change today too.

Today we had some time to kill in Salt Lake so I took Benjamin and Daniel to the Church History Museum across the street from Temple Square. As we were leaving I remembered I had my camera with me and I snapped this picture of the Salt Lake Temple through the trees. We wouldn't have been able to see it if the trees were filled with leaves.

Daniel hasn't been the biggest fan of rice cereal so I decided to give carrots a try. He ate them right up and enjoyed doing it too! By the time he was done he had carrots all over his face, in his hair, and up his nose. Fun stuff!

We went to the BYU Mens Basketball Game tonight. It was the last home game against Air Force. It was a close game but BYU won in the end! It was also the first time we had to buy a ticket just for Benjamin. Here is a picture of Daniel and Benjamin sitting on their own chair in between me and Jonathan.

Benjamin got new pajamas today from Old Navy (they were on clearance, my favorite!). There is a lion on the shirt and it says "mommy's wild child." This kid is definitely wild right before bed time. It's like he need to run and scream out every last bit of energy before he can lay down for the night. Or maybe it's a stall-tactic. He's getting really good at those.

New sippy cups from Costco in bright colors make me feel a little happier today. Benjamin enjoys them too, especially the "sport bottle" ones.
