We went to the Jazz game tonight and took the kids with us. It was fun and the boys did great. Here is a rare picture of Jonathan and I together.

Benjamin spent a few minutes talking to Grammy by webcam today. Skype lets you change your image into different things, and I took this picture of Benjamin talking to a "dog."

The Hogle Zoo had a free admissions day today so we went first thing in the morning and had a good time with friends seeing all the animals. It was a nice day, especially for February!

Daniel slept through the night last night for the first time. He slept from 9:30pm to 5:30am, ate, and then fell back asleep until 7:30am!

Benjamin amazes me with all the funny places he chooses to sit while reading. I am thrilled that he loves to read and spends time every day reading by himself and with one of his parents.

Week 8

I don't have a page today because I am planning on doing a 2 page spread for Weeks 8 and 9. Half of it is done but it would be silly to post a half completed layout.

I love watching my babies sleep. I wouldn't dare try to take a picture of Benjamin sleeping because the flash would wake him up, but Daniel is too little for that to be a problem.

I'm posting early today because I'm off for another girls night with Cassidee (my sister in law). We're going to see Confessions of a Shopaholic and then to get some ice cream or something. Mmmmm... chick flicks and junk food. It's like my single college days all over again :)
Benjamin has a pretty nasty ear infection in his left ear and the beginnings of an infection in his right ear. We are now giving him antibiotics for the infection, motrin for the fever, and helichrysm drops for the pain in his ear.

While decluttering and purging today I decided it was time to bring out Benjamin's exersaucer for Daniel to start using. Wow, did he have fun this afternoon!

I had a late night last night- first a baby shower and then I went to a movie with the girls.Vilja and a new friend. Fun stuff! I didn't get home until 11, so my picture is a little late being posted.

I have this hanging in my kitchen. It's been a tough week with Benjamin and Daniel being sick and it being too cold to do much outside. I'm glad I have this as a reminder of what's really important.

The roses Jonathan bought me for Valentines' Day opened today and they look beautiful. They smell lovely too!

This was the very first time Benjamin has ever gone bowling. He has bowled with the Wii, but this was his first real life experience. He had fun using the ramp to roll his ball down the lane.

Our special Valentines' Day treats: Benjamin had a great time helping me make the cupcake batter and putting the paper backings in the muffin tins. I decorated the cupcakes after Benjamin went to bed.

Benjamin spent time reading books to Daniel today. One of his favorites to read right now is Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. Daniel loves putting books in his mouth. It was funny to see Benjamin react to Daniel trying to grab the book from him to chew on it.

Benjamin made his bed this morning and made sure that his stuffed animals were tucked in and ready to sleep. He even gave each of them a kiss goodnight.

Jonathan shut down the computer last night before I had a chance to upload my pictures and I was too tired and lazy to boot the computer back up again. So here's my picture a day late. But I promise I really did take it yesterday.This is Daniel hanging out in the cloth box that usually holds Benjamin's train set. He thinks it's hilarious to sit in here and he loves to chew on the side of the box.

My ingenious idea to get Benjamin to pick up all the balls he threw out of the ball pit was to put the basketball hoop in the ball pit too. Benjamin threw about 100 balls into the basket, making cleaning up so much fun!

We had friends over to watch the Superbowl today. Benjamin and his friend had a great time dancing to Bruce Springsteen during the halftime show!
